Service
Learning and Family Center.
Our dream project is to open a Learning and Family Center in the Little Rock area.  Currently, a site is being evaluated.  The Learning and Family Center would be a "one-stop shop", partnering with local agencies and other charities, to include possibilities such as babysitting; 12 step programs; job training and placement; ESL; medical clinics; community gardens.

"Love 'n Stitches" Sewing Program.
Providing clothing and layettes for mothers and infants and homemade quilts for the disabled and homeless.  Yearly Christmas project "Baskets for Babies" provides layettes and other baby items to local agencies such as Birthright and UAMS.

"Art and Soul" Annual Art Camp.
One day camp for children from homeless shelters, foster care, and low income families.  Classes in visual arts, music, dough sculpture, crafts such as basket weaving, and drama are taught to the children in a loving, Christian environment.  The day ends with an art show and reception for students and families.  Children are treated to breakfast, lunch, snacks, and gift bags including a free T-shirt to commemorate the day.

Homeless Cookie Program.
Members and non-members bake cookies each month for the homeless stewpot downtown.  Cookies are placed in a ziploc bag and a scripture quote is attached to each to remind the homeless that someone cares.

"The Good Soil Gardens" Urban Agriculture Program.
Providing garden space for seniors, youth in need, disabled.  Gardens are maintained by our clients.  Some produce is donated to local charities.  Future plans include educational gardens for youth and raised garden beds for the disabled.

"Hugs for Haiti" Earthquake Relief Initiative. (retired program)
Providing powdered milk to the people of Haiti via direct monthly shipments to the Daughters of Charity mission in Haiti.

Seniors Ministry.
Paired LCs make frequent visits to the homebound Catholics of our community.  Visits include help with basic needs, prayer, and encouragement.  As Catholics, we value life from conception to natural death.  We hope to show this love and caring by providing individual attention to seniors in need.

Justice for Women and Children.
The focus for this program is justice for the voiceless and most vulnerable - the unborn - and help for struggling mothers.

Women Support Group.
Support for women suffering from divorce or other family issues.

All projects are discerned and approved by members to help the poor and vulnerable in the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul.
