Service
Learning and Family Center.
Our dream project is to open a Learning and Family Center in the Little Rock area.  Currently, a site is being evaluated.  The Learning and Family Center would be a "one-stop shop", partnering with local agencies and other charities, to include possibilities such as babysitting; 12 step programs; job training and placement; ESL; medical clinics; community gardens.

Layette/Quilting/Sewing.
Providing clothing and layettes for mothers and infants and homemade quilts for the disabled and homeless.  Yearly Christmas project "Baskets for Babies" provides layettes and other baby items to local agencies such as Birthright and Safe Places.

Art Camp.
One day camp for children from homeless shelters, foster care, and low income families.  Classes in visual arts, music, sculpture, crafts such as basket weaving are taught to the children in a loving, Christian environment.  The day ends with an art show and reception for students and families.  Children are treated to breakfast, lunch, snacks, and take home food and a magic show during the lunch hour.

Homeless Cookie Project.
Members and non-members bake cookies each month for the homeless stew pot downtown.  Cookies are placed in a ziploc bag and a scripture quote is attached to each to remind the homeless that someone cares for them.

Urban Gardens.
Providing garden space for seniors, youth in need, disabled.  Gardens are maintained by our clients.  Future educational gardens for youth and raised garden beds for the disabled are currently being researched.

Haiti Earthquake Relief Initiative.
Providing powdered milk to the people of Haiti via direct monthly shipments to the Daughters of Charity on the ground in Haiti.

All projects are discerned and approved by members and help the poor and vulnerable in the spirit of St. Vincent de Paul (education for adult immigrants; assistance for seniors, advocating for the unborn, literacy for youth).
